As a collective of spaces in Southern Estonia, we are rethinking how and why we create. That’s why our residency programs don’t end in our exceptional artistic studios. We encourage collaboration with botanical gardens, nature houses, decaying public spaces, and other centers of research. We endeavor not to end these projects at our borders, but to create an expansive network of likeminded creatives, curators, and scientists. Projects, focusing on collaboration between art and science shall be encouraged in 2021. We endeavor not only to revive the state of our waters, gardens, and architectural spaces, but also to re-generate the state of the cultural scene in the ongoing pandemic. We reach out to artists and activists who wish to be socially and culturally engaged. Our favorite applications are from residents who wish to partake in workshops, artist talks, and public events. We reach out to those interested in combining their practice with ecological restoration and cleanup, a reminder of the world we must create.
